Privacy Policy
1. General Information
This website can generally be used without registering. I do not use my own
analytics tools, tracking pixels or advertising networks.
However, personal data is processed when you contact me and when you use the
web order form. The processing of your data is carried out in accordance with
the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Server Log Files
When you access this website, the provider of the web server automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits. This may include:
- IP address (shortened where technically possible)
- Date and time of the request
- Visited page / file
- Amount of data transferred
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL (previously visited page)
This data is processed to ensure the technical delivery and security of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The data is not merged with other data sources and is usually deleted automatically after a short period, unless longer storage is necessary for evidence purposes.
3. Contact by E-Mail
If you contact me by e-mail, I process your details (name, e-mail address, content of the message, and any further information you provide) solely for the purpose of handling your request and for possible follow-up questions.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract) and, where not contract-related, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in proper communication with customers and interested parties). I do not pass this data on to third parties without your consent.
4. Web Order Form
For online orders I provide a web form that is operated directly on my own
web server. When you use the form, your entries are transmitted via HTTPS to
my hosting provider and processed there on my behalf for the technical
provision of the service. In addition, the content of your order is forwarded
to me by e-mail.
Depending on the fields used, the following categories of data are processed:
- Identification and contact data (e.g. name, e-mail address, billing address, phone number)
- Project-related information (e.g. artist name, album / project title, catalogue numbers, deadlines, notes)
- Billing and VAT information
- File uploads (premaster ZIP archives and related material)
- Technical metadata such as IP address and time of submission
The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of the contract
and pre-contractual communication) and, where appropriate, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR
(legitimate interest in efficient and secure online order processing).
The web hosting provider acts as a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR.
I have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider. The servers are
located in the EU. Uploaded premaster files are generally stored for up to
30 days and then deleted automatically, unless longer storage is required for
contractual reasons or legal obligations. E-mails and accounting-relevant data
may be stored for a longer period in accordance with statutory retention
periods (see also section 7).
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
This website itself does not set any marketing or analytics cookies.
When using the embedded Jotform web order form, Jotform may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for the technical provision of the form, to prevent misuse (for example spam protection), or – depending on your configuration and Jotform’s settings – for analysis and service optimisation. These cookies are placed directly by Jotform; I do not have access to the individual cookies or the information stored in them.
You can control and delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. For details on the cookies used by Jotform, please refer to Jotform’s own privacy and cookie information.
6. External Links & Embedded Content
This website contains simple links and embedded content to external platforms such as Bandcamp, Spotify, SoundCloud, Instagram and Jotform. No personal data is transmitted to these services merely by displaying a static link. Data is only transferred when you click a link or interact with embedded content (for example, start playback or submit a form).
Once you visit such external websites, the respective providers are responsible for the processing of your data. Please refer to their privacy policies.
7. Storage Period
I process and store personal data only for as long as is necessary to achieve the respective purpose (e.g. processing your request or order) or as required by statutory retention periods (e.g. tax and commercial law). After expiry of such periods, the data will be deleted or anonymised.
8. Your Rights
You have the following rights with regard to the personal data concerning you:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.
